API operations

We offer numerous functions in order to manage domain names. However according to the domain name extension, some of them are not supported either at the registry level either by us.

The below information is obtained in realtime with the function queryOpeList

If the status is "0" (closed), thus the function is not available. If you try to call a closed operation, you will receive the error E12-M1204.

Management of .RO domains as Reseller

As the domain name is registered for life, for the renewal, we don't charge you any registry fee but only our management fee (€2 added to each registry fee). So you will be charged €2 yearly for any .RO domains. Also in such case, it is not possible to manage the domain name at RoTLD website because we define our email address for the registrant. This action avoids discrepency onto domain names as they can only be updated by NETIM.

However, we provide a workaround for resellers who:

- doesn't charge the renewal to their customers

- doesn't use our basic services like DNS management

- want to give the management of domains to the registrant himself at ROTLD's website

When a domain name is registered, we define registrant's email address as provided during the registration request and the domain name is 'transferred out' from NETIM (In such case, the domain is not active anymore into our system). So, as reseller, you are charged only the registration fee (registry fee + €2) and your client can manage their domains at ROTLD.
